What is the good word for this November day?

Pray continually  ~  God will never lead you into any place where His grace will be unable to protect you.

  • Continue steadfastly in prayer.  Romans 12:12 ~ Acts 6:4 ~ Colossians 4:2 ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:17

  • Ask God to guide you today so that you can know what He wants you to do today . . .
and ask Him to keep you aware of His presence with you moment by moment throughout each day.

  • Pray for one another . . . the fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much.  James 5:16 ~ Proverbs 15:29

  • Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known to God.  Philippians 4:6

Whatever your circumstances, take them to the Lord in prayer.
O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,
all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.

  • What we take in by the Word of God and digest by meditation, we can then let out by prayer.

Our Father in heaven, Holy is your name.
May your kingdom come and your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us for our debts in which we have done wrong to others
as we forgive our debtors, those we feel have done wrong to us.
Lead us, so that we will not yield to temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom is yours, and the power and the glory, forever.  Amen.  Matthew 6:9-13
