What is the good word for this May day?

Resilience   ~   is acquiring the ability to get up,  dust yourself off,  and press on.

Resilience is a gift that God gives to those who trust in Him.  The purpose of trials and adversity is to shape our attitude.  The response that we choose to have to adversity (and it is always a choice), demonstrates in what or in whom we place our trust.  Tragedy, illness, financial set-backs, heartaches, and pain are universal and inevitable.  No one is exempt.  However, all who place their trust in God learn that His grace is sufficient.  It is all you need.  He will impart His strength in us to overcome any weakness.  God does not make mistakes.  He always knows exactly what He is doing.  His strength is made perfect in our weakness. cf. 2 Corinthians 12:8-10 For God said: I will never leave you nor forsake you. cf. John 14:18, Hebrews 13:5  Be strong and of a good courage, do not be afraid, for the Lord your God will never fail you nor forsake you.  Deuteronomy 31:6
